Gave me some great advice over the phone to avoid paying for something that could be an easy fix, which was really honest. Managed to fix the issue with the advice. Very happy.

I’d been having trouble finding a very specific replacement lock barrel, which none of the big-name stores had available, and neither did online retailers. Popped in here as a last-ditch attempt and the lady behind the counter not only knew exactly what it is I needed, but also had it in stock! Top service, will definitely be coming here again in the future!

Joe arrived quickly and identified the problem as the electric lock failing to operate properly. He tried a couple of on the spot fixes but decided that replacement was necessary. My first experience with Absolute Security was a joy. Although a padlock I had which was very old (60yrs) and a had great sentimental value, the lovely lady proprioter seached high and low, and is still searching, for a blank to cut a key for me.

Tried to open a wine bottle with my key (don’t ask), and unsurprisingly ended up with a bent, sad-looking mess. Took it to this locksmith expecting a lecture, but instead got amazing service! Somehow, they managed to make a perfect copy from my key’s crumpled remains. Bardie was super helpful, efficient, and didn’t even judge my life choices. 10/10 would break a key again just to come back!

I had trouble with my back door which wouldn’t lock and phoned Absolute Security . They came within an hour and sorted it out quickly. They said the lock didn’t have to be replaced and they were honest enough to tell me and not insist it needed a new one. A rare thing these days. Excellent service. We often use Absolute Security to fix the locks on blocks that we manage as i work for a property management company. I have a great rapport with them over the phone and they always communicate when on site.

On a personal level, these are the only people i will get my keys cut from, they charge a reasonable price and the key ALWAYS works.

Helpful lady from the office assured me someone would be with me in 30 minutes and the guy turns up and opens the door before I’ve even walked to the house. He then spent some time making adjustments on the door to improve the security of it and when I mentioned the window had been open as it didn’t lock properly, he proceeded to spend more of his time replacing the handle for me as a temporary and secure measure. Could not have been more helpful, such an amazing and kind gesture. I rang them this morning with an issue with my car key. I took it in this afternoon they replaced the fob and battery and cut a new key.

Excellent Service Highly recommended . When the Chubb security lock to our rear door became difficulty to lock . I phone Absolute Security who advise me that the lock could be serviced rather that pay the expense of a new Chub lock. The handle broke on my upvc window, and I struggled to find a company that could help. I was relieved when the friendly receptionist at Absolute assured me that this was something they could fix. The gentlemen who attended were polite and professional at all times. They were able to replace the handle – but also suggested new hinges, as the windows had significant gaps at the top. My windows had been drafty since I moved in to the property – but I hadn’t realised it was something that could be fixed without replacing the windows. I was very pleased that this was something the Absolute team could do, and even happier that they were able to replace hinges and handles on three windows on the same day. The cost was reasonable, and my flat is now quieter and warmer, thanks to the fix. I am very grateful for the work and suggestions, and would not hesitate to recommend the company. If you’ve got gappy upvc windows or dodgy handles, give them a call! Many thanks to the team.

Excellent service today after my front door handle came off in my hand. Turned up promptly, did a thorough service on the door and replaced the battered old handle with a lovely new one. Staff are very welcoming and friendly.

I have received excellent service from this company. The locksmiths attended at the agreed time, quickly and efficiently sorted out the broken lock. They were friendly and gave some practical advice around lock maintenance. At no extra cost they adjusted another door lock to improve its efficiency. I will definitely use this company again and highly recommend them.

Enquired about a single door, they also looked at another one then went away.
Came back within days and sorted both doors for us quickly and totally hassle-free. They went out of their way to make sure that I was happy with the result of the work, they didn’t just insist it was “done”. Had a problem with my Upvc door meaning my back door wouldn’t close. These guys came up and replaced the mechanism very quickly.
They identified and rectified faults with the door that were present since the house was built that weren’t related to the faulty mechanism.

Absolutely amazing service. I managed to lock us all out, after saying I had my keys on me when we left the house. I called these guys and within 10 minutes he was on my doorstep on a Saturday afternoon. Would highly recommend.

We used these after moving house to change our locks, the locksmiths worked really hard and were very helpful, one small issue with one lock was put right straight away, couldn’t fault them, excellent service.

Second time that i have called upon absolute security. This time for a sticking barrel lock. Resigned to forking out a replacement i was delighted when they said that wasnt needed . .they fixed the lock and then noticed that the door was sticking ,

They were very professional, very able, and honest and reliable. The double glaze company told me I need new hinges at £100 + but these guys just tightened the hinge and it was fine. Sorted my seized patio door lock which also would have cost me loads with double glazers. They are very good, don’t rip you off and are v pleasant when in your home. Highly recommend them.

I gave these people a call after searching the well known chain websites who were all completely out of stock for a uPVC multi-point gearbox. So glad I did as the chain website had mislabelled their product any how which would have ended up in me buying the wrong part. Locked myself out on a Sunday evening and came out quickly to help, great service

I have a 22+yr old Weru door and the locking mechanism had broken. I took it to Absolute Security to get a replacement but after much searching by the very helpful staff it was found to be obsolete with no replacement. They had a look to see if they could repair the old one but it was beyond that. They ordered one that they thought might fit but it didn’t. The only solution looked like a complete new door. Then I got a phone call with the news that John might be able to adapt the lock to fit; it was worth a try. After several hours of perseverance from John, who also sorted out a few other problems with the door I have a perfectly locking door again. Thank you, your customer service and expertise is unbeatable.
